Construction continues to make strong progress at the Active Living Centre, with major features now taking shape as the project moves toward a fall 2026 opening.
Recent work on site includes completed concrete pours, ongoing interior framing, and tile installation in pool and change room areas. Skylights have been installed, while exterior glazing and metal siding continue to advance. Pool filtration systems, water service connections, and storm sewer tie-ins are also complete. Construction activity will continue in the coming months as interior finishes and building systems progress.
The Active Living Centre is being designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind. The project is targeting Rick Hansen Foundation Gold–level certification, reflecting a commitment to creating a welcoming, barrier-free environment for people of all ages and abilities.
